Gamma Aerospace Receives Nadcap Accreditation at California Operation Company’s Rapid Anodizing Facility Achieves Certification for Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing and Paint

Mansfield, TX — July 8, 2021  Gamma Aerospace announced today that the Rapid Anodizing facility (a wholly owned Company subsidiary) in Los Angeles, California, has achieved Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) certification for Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing and Paint.

Acquiring Nadcap certification at the Rapid Anodizing facility involved a rigorous audit process conducted by the Performance Review Institute that evaluates organizational processes and regulatory requirements. These quality requirements, in turn, are crucial to aerospace OEMs, which maintain high levels of liability for their products. In addition, as a result of this certification, as well as past NADCAP audit successes, Rapid Anodizing now holds Nadcap Merit Certificates in both Chemical Processing and Non-Destructive Testing. The operation’s scope of Nadcap approvals includes NDT testing; Paint and Dry Film Lubricant; Type II and Type III Anodizing; Conversion Coating on aluminum; and Passivation and Surface Preparation of stainless steel.

The Nadcap accreditation at Rapid Anodizing comes on the heels of the Company’s recent announcement of the completion of capital investments at its Mansfield and Rapid Anodizing operations, which funded expansion into a range of advanced, in-house special processing capabilities that include anodizing, priming/painting, chemical conversion coating and fluorescent penetrant inspection.
